Pedestrian left critically hurt after hit-and-run in SW Columbus parking lot

COLUMBUS, OH – Authorities have arrested a suspect following a hit-and-run collision Sunday evening in southwest Columbus that left a pedestrian critically injured, reports NBC4i.

Columbus Police responded to the incident in the 1300 block of Georgesville Road at about 5:57 p.m.

Details are limited at this time, but officials indicated that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Walmart shopping center, near Domino’s Pizza.

The victim, who was rushed to an area hospital in serious condition, was later listed in critical condition.

One person who reportedly fled the scene of the crash was arrested and now faces potential charges.
