5 injured in collision at Deshler Park intersection

COLUMBUS, OH – Three juveniles were among the five people injured last Friday night, July 5, due to a crash in southeast Columbus, according to 10 WBNS.

The accident happened at the corner of Fairwood Avenue and Frebis Avenue, in the city’s Deshler Park area. First responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after 10:35 p.m.

Local officials have not released any information regarding the cause or nature of the wreck, but two people, including one who was critically hurt, were rushed to Grant Medical Center.

Three juveniles with unspecified injuries were transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital where they were all listed in stable condition.

No pending charges or citations have been made public, but an investigation remains in progress.
